Position Summary: Director, GC Pro Reporting to the President, Business Solutions, the Director, GC Pro is responsible for the overall success of Guitar Center Professional's business, strategies and plans for Key market verticals including Recording & Broadcast Studios, Restaurants & Bars, small venues, Houses of Worship, and private K12. The Director, GC Pro leads Account Managers in the field that is supported by an inside salesforce of Call Center Agents and will develop a successful e-commerce platform. A key focus is to develop strong relationships with external partners, vendors and sub-contractors, and internal partners such as Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and HR. This individual encapsulates the Company's Core Values and Mission and develops this within the team to unlock their full potential. They are counted on to provide leadership to maintain high performance levels of all direct reports, which includes Regional Managers, Logistics, and the Call Center. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Develop and execute the strategic growth plan in conjunction with the President, Business Solutions Develop and drive a strategic framework that empowers the team to execute, including the careful tracking of metrics and making timely decisions using data. This includes organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Create proposals and presentations to the Management Committee that highlight current business and/or new market opportunities, ways to improve operations planning, and overall business efficiencies. P&L Management Manage gross margins, and all variable and fixed costs to deliver EBITDA growth. Business Development & Sales Focus on revenue and pipeline in key verticals and expanding to new verticals in terms of Sales, Marketing, and product capabilities. Business development includes pursuing high value customers and guiding the sales team to success in the pursuit of short and long-term business value. Marketing and lead generation Work closely with the Enterprise marketing team to develop a marketing plan for generating leads and building the GC Pro brand and put key metrics in place to measure RoAS, Call Center Manage and grow the Call Center into a customer-centric consultative sales force to support the key Account Managers in the field. Create a motivating environment towards improving product knowledge and performance level throughout the Call Center. Use a systematic approach to identify areas requiring improvement, encourage innovation, and successfully manage change. Lead the team as it relates to planning, deploying resources, setting priorities, achieving goals, and developing employees. E-Commerce and Omni Channel Build a leadership position in the B2B e-commerce segment space by providing a seamless customer experience between Account Manager, Call Center and Direct to Consumer. Vendor Partnerships Work proactively with key vendors and build strategic partnerships to ensure the Company gets the best pricing, commercial terms, marketing & training, and training support. Work with key partners to develop a business pipeline aligned with our strategic growth plans. Building strategic partnerships Build partnerships with sub-contractors to create a project execution infrastructure in key verticals. Build and lead a high performing team Attract high quality talent. Integrating acquisitions Engage in Operational Diligence on acquisition targets and then working closely with Director of Projects and Integration to deliver post-acquisition synergies and integration.
