Specialty: BC OBGYN HOSPITALIST Requirements: Active Florida license, Board Certification with a minimum of 3 years active experience Medical Spanish Helpful 178 Beds 8 labor/delivery/recovery suites, 29 postpartum suites 24 hour in-house nonconsecutive shifts 24-hour In-house call Responsibilities Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies Manage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ER Manage all patients that present to the OB-ED (OB Triage) Perform Antepartum, Post-partum and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist service Inpatient consults Provide emergent GYN surgery services for patients that present to the Main ER (ex. Ruptured ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, incomplete Ab, etc.) Call Coverage for Community Providers as needed; will be responsible for managing all of their patients during the coverage period. Hospital Privileges: 60-90 days
