Job Summary::

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Employee Relations, the Sr. Human Resources Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing SWK's long term strategic plan and aligning strategies to investment and operational plans. Directs the exploration, development, and execution of new and or adjacent market growth opportunities and provide direct support to their assigned lines of business to execute the organization's HR strategy. The Sr. HR Manager will support the scoping, opportunity sizing and feasibility assessment of new strategic initiatives including the development of business cases. Cultivate broad relationships and collaborates closely with team members and works cross-functionally with subject matter experts and leaders within and outside the company to execute the overall SWK corporate strategy. The Sr. Human Resources will provide the HR department with planning, directing, and coordinating human resource management initiatives for the organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources to ensure regulatory compliance for the assigned employee population. Requires a solid understanding of business operations. Domestic travel is required and at times is frequent depending on business need.

Essential Functions::
Develops and oversees' operations within SWK human resource functions
Develops and implements organizational human resource policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local governments
Evaluates and selects HR-Related vendors or service providers
Assist the Sr. Management team in developing human resource strategies
Collaborate with Management to develop, design and implement policies, procedures, programs and guidelines to support the alignment of the workforce with SWK's strategic goals
Maintain human resource polices and procedures for the alignment of business to ensure they are current, relevant and supporting the needs of the organization, while complying with the appropriate federal, state and local laws
Ensure the availability and training of appropriate staff resources and talent to meet business needs
Ensures assigned line of business metrics are captured and monitors results to respond to root cause by developing and deploying countermeasures
Working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods; directing other persons within the HR department and/or across several small work units and monitoring budget expenditures
Contributes to development of SWK corporate strategy including development of industry and financial analysis leading to specific growth opportunity and recommendations
Provides thought leadership and external future-focused lens and a growth mindset to actively influence strategy development, execution and revision
Oversees and contributes to the development of the SW strategy
Understands market changes and provides fact-based insight on specific data and insights including the interpretation of program environments
Conducts due-diligence activities related to internal and external legal teams on transaction documentation
Other Functions::
Provide support and back-up to the Human Resource department as needed
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential task as assigned
Facilities improvement processes regarding team performance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements::
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business or Social Services, field relevant to the SW Key market and strategy.
Minimum of 8 years' experience of relevant business experience, including 5 years in a HR Management
Detail-oriented and proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proactive and highly organized with a demonstrated track record of achieving results independently and in a team environment
Demonstrated hypothesis=driven, problem-solving orientation with the ability to create a structured quantitative and qualitative analysis
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex opportunities into clear and concise decision points for both internal and external audiences
Highly effective interpersonal skills to carry out daily interactions with internal and external technical leaders, business executives, customers, teammates, and business partners
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of embracing novel opportunities and developing unique and compelling solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

PREFERED:

PHR/SHRM certification from a HR certification institute
Prior experience with non-profit/social service organization, in a HR capacity
Prior experience working with a non-profit/social services organizations
Bilingual in English/Spanish
Physical Demands::

Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment::

General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer uses at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
