Software Controls Engineer
North West / UK wide
Initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £37.50p/h - £42.50p/h (Outside IR35)
Electrical / Control Panels / Siemens TIA Portal / Commissioning
I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for a Software Controls Engineer to join their business on a contract basis. My client are leaders in the build and instal of mechanical equipment within the FMCG industries. This contract is an initial 6 months however there is a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Software Controls Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Working on mechanical equipment within FMCG predominantly conveyors
- Programming and coding on Siemens TIA Portal
- Commissioning & de bugging on customer sites
- Work closely with electrical team to ensure the product is to customer satisfaction
- Work autonomously and independently as well as in a team
The successful Software Controls Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Background in commissioning and willing to commission on site UK wide
- Strong HMI build experience to programme machinery using Siemens TIA Portal
- Experience within engineering in FMCG or related industries
- Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
